Here's a challenge: Name a great "comeback" album.
Inspired by A.V. Club's "15 True Comeback Albums"

I'd probably have picked B-52's "Cosmic Thing," but that's already in the list. That being the case, I think I'll force my brain and pick Wanda Jackson's "Heart Trouble".

1. Santana - Supernatural
Johnny Cash - American Recordings (already on that list though)

2. "Morrison Hotel" by The Doors.
Their glossy, glitzy album "The Soft Parade", although now considered underrated, was not a success artistically when it was released in 1969. The Doors went back to their bluesy roots and produced an album of astonishing power and drive.

3. Awesome, Mission Of Burma's "OnOffOn" is on the list.
I was going to say that.

Gang of Four's "Return the Gift" is great, though since it's re-recordings of old songs, I don't know if it would count.

5. Dylan's Time Out of Mind
It won a grammy for album of the year (for whatever that's worth), and it really was a great album, after a decade or two of (at best) hit and miss from dylan.
