Do any of you guys remember the 'trick' to this?

It had something to do with the mathematical probability of choosing multiples of 9 I think, but I can't find the thread.

1. Damn, I used to know, and I've forgotten, so now it's creeping the hell

2. Simple

Any two digit number, when the two digits are added and then that sum is subtracted from the original number, gives a result that is a multiple of nine, and whose digits when summed equal nine.

Examples (all randomly selected): 24 > 2+4=6 > 24-6=18 > 1+8=9

78 > 7+8=15 > 78-15=63 > 6+3=9

94 > 9+4=13 > 94-13=81 > 8+1=9

65 > 6+5=11 > 65-11=54 > 5+4=9

3. Spider Jerusalem has explained the math of the trick.

Since the answer will always be nine,
what remains is the presentation.
Each time you play a different symbol is assigned
to multiples of nine.
The delay in showing the symbol
is drama added.
I think this version is very well done.
