Please help me understand if its just me, or is this guy not funny to anyone else.

1. He was funny when he had the Daily Show writing staff behind him
He's not so funny just out there on his own. Not that he's terrible or so bad that it's painful, he's just kind of..."meh."

And I hate to be picky, but it's "Rocca." :hi:

He can really hit it sometimes but often it just falls flat for me.

on edit: just wanted to add...I think he's one of those guys that is funny in that they can identify a subject and find the absurdity and he's probably a good comic writer but his delivery often just falls flat.

5. It's embarrassing to watch him.. he's not funny
He tries to be, but he's just not. At best, he's amusing...in a "watch-somebody-slip-on-ice" kind of way
