I have a flat spot on the top of my head. That would NOT be attractive in the least! If I shaved my head, I'd probably have to shave it twice a day to keep the stubble at bay anyway. It's too freakin' thick and grows very fast... :P

Just takes the application of a little heat (a flat iron on a rayon setting should do nicely) and a few C-clamps. ;)
