A riddle
A Mother, Father and two kids come across a river during a hike. They have to cross the river but all that's available is a small boat that's just big enough to hold either 1 adult or 2 children. Fortunately the whole family are good rowers. How do they get across?

1. okay, here I go
first time across, both kids go....but, on the way back, only one kid goes back...

second trip, one adult rows over....but, on the return trip, the kid rows back over...

next trip, two kids row over again, but one kid returns, back...

This time, the other adult paddles over, and on the return trip, the other kid, rows back, to pick up his sibling, and both row, back over to the shore, where both parents are...?

how's that.

2. The two children go across first.
Child one gets out on the other shore. Child two rows back, gets out, and lets father in. Father rows across and gets out. Child one gets in and rows back across. Child two gets in and they row across. Child one gets out, and child two rows back across. Mother gets in and rows across. Mother gets out and child one gets in. Child one rows across, picks up child two, and the two row across together for the final time.

And everybody eats sandwiches on the beach...the end.

4. They bicker and squabble about how to do it...
...until the mom gets pissed and yells "Knock
it off and get your butts over there RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!"

They reach the far bank in 10 seconds,
where they meekly await further orders.
