Need to RANT!

I run a resort in Key Largo. It has been raining all day and all night. We have a shitty old water system piped in from the mainland. The main pipes are forever breaking. Just got a call from one of the guests on my emergency line. "We have no water and you better come out and fix it." I returned the call and told her about our antiquated pipe system, and that generally it takes from an hour to four hours to get the water turned on again. She went ballistic informing me that I had BETTER find out exactly what was going on and when they would have water again. I called the aquaduct authority. Busy, of course. I called the operator and she said that they were flooded (pun intended) with calls, so she assumed that there was a general water problem. I called the guest back and told her that a pipe had ruptured and I had no idea when it would be repaired. She said "OK" and hung up. So much for my pleasant evening. Bitch.
