Does anyone have a really good Christmas cookie recipe?

Today is a good day to make some here. Cold and snowy.

1. Always use at least half real butter, for the most fantastic cookies.

ROLLED SUGAR COOKIES
350 degrees
1 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
Beat in:
2 eggs
Combine and add:
3 c. sifted plain or s.r. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Chill dough 3-4 hours. Preheat oven. Roll and cut. Bake till lightly browned around the edges. Make a frosting out of confectioners sugar, butter and a little milk and vanilla. Put sprinkles on top or food coloring in the icing.
