1. Sox shoulda had three games knocked off

their lead over Minnesota today as a penalty for losing to Pittsburgh, which had lost 13 straight.

Contreras didn't get the loss, but they slapped him around pretty good (six runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3), so his 16-start win streak's still on.

Who woulda thunk it?

2. since we're talking baseball

what's the fucking deal with the NL teams getting run off all the fields in interleague play? i've been a longtime fan of NL over AL teams/styles of play, but i've been looking like a fool these past couple of weeks

I have never seen anything like this...

I think the Tigers, White Sox, and Twins are like 33-4 against the NL so far...
