I passed my test!!!!!!!!!!!!
:bounce: earlier this month I had to take a certification exam...which basically for 4 years in school I was drilled that this would be the toughest exam I was going to take and it was so important...etc...well I took it and passed on the first try! Unfortunately I only took 2 out of the 3 sections because I stupidly waited too long to register (who knew end of January would be too late to register for an exam on June 10th!?!) but the 2 sections I took were the most difficult portions and this third section I'm going to take in Aug will take about 15 minutes and is absolute cake compared to the other two. The only downside is I have to drive all the way up to Boston because there are no testing locations close to me this time and I don't want to wait until November because I want to put that I am certified on my grad school applications. However I must look on the bright side, it is a perfect excuse to spend a long weekend in New England and I've always wanted to visit the Kennedy Library. As for right now I'm gonna do what 70 percent of the people who take the written portion of this exam can't do...celebrate my passing on the first try!!! :bounce:

1. That's very good news!
You're already doing better than 70%... congratulations. And it must be a good feeling knowing you've got the hardest part behind you. Nothing wrong with spending a little time in NE either!

3. I did very little test prep as well...
I kept telling myself I would study for this thing but kept putting it off until the day before I realized that I hadn't prepared at all. I took a couple of practice tests and went into this exam with a very carefree attitude. In hindsight, I think that probably helped me pass it, I already know all my material (I majored in the subject in college) and 2, I wasn't anxious at all.

I watched a few classmates take it in the spring and they spent several months prior beating themselves up by studying constantly, stressing out about it and still not passing the damn thing.
