I HATE HOUSEFLIES! DAMN PESTS!!!!
I wonder how the buggers got in... and, more importantly, how to exterminate them. Let them lay eggs in someone else's potato salad...

Glad I don't own a dog. OTOH, with no dog doo, making a trap for them will be hard to do...

1. Get a cat
Then you'll soon be able to justify shopping for new lamps, drapes, etc.

2. The flys like to come in the door when open.
I live with people who were born in a barn, just stand with door open.

You might try the old type of sticky fly paper, it really works.

3. I have a bit of a fly problem this year.
I have trapped over 1000 inside the house with sticky strips. I have filled 20 bait bags outside. I mean filled- probably 1000 per bag.
Why do I have such a problem? My only neighbors are cows. I thank God that their pasture is 300 yards away or I would really have troubles. Oh, the farmer next door fertilized his hay field this year with chicken shit and that may have something to do with it also.
I also screwed up by allowing a sparrow nest in my eve. Sparrows eat wasps. Unfortunately wasps feed on flies. Next year I will discourage the sparrows.
