Some minor antidotes to the sinking feeling that World War III is...
...past it's first gestational trimester in the Middle East, via YouTube (many culled from ESPN. Existence in a world teetering on global war? Snap into this Slim Jim of utterly un-enriching but entertaining videos. No gore, violence, and only a little bad taste:

Fonzie Jumps the Shark

The Shining trailer, done as a comedy

William Shatner spoof on the Brad Pitt movie "Se7en"

Mr. Show - Mayostard/Mustardayonnaise

Mr. Show - Blowing up the moon

Cactus Buzzer Gameshow

That would be the butt, Bob (timeless)

Cheney Loves Dat Azz

Jump Boots free style 2

Stopped engine aerobatics

If you still can't get the thought of civilization-ending planetary conflagration out of your mind, watch this and realize the brighter side bees finally getting thier big break:

William Shatner sings Rocket Man by Elton John

Feel free to reply and add your own (doesn't have to be YouTube) but please remember the intent is to pleasantly distract.

4. Jack Webney, the Winnebago Man.
This video circulated around the film production community for years; the dub I had was nearly unwatchable it was so old.

Here, in its second-generation splendour, is "Winnebago Man":
