This is amazing! (great band alert)
Lately, I've been searching my brain for weird musical memories and then seeking them out on youtube. Don't ask me what made me remember these guys. No clue.

I first saw Sparks on American bandstand in the early to mid Seventies, and haven't seen them since. Well, wonders never cease, I found Sparks from 1974. But then saw there were more videos. Ya'll, these guys are STILL TOGETHER and look like they haven't aged a day. And they're better than ever.

I'd call this quirky Brit pop ... made, oddly enough, by two AMERICAN brothers. If you like Queen or Kate Bush you'll probably like Sparks. These guys are so much fun. If you like them, there are many more vids on youtube.

1974 - 'This Town Ain't Big Enough'

Recent - 'Dick Around' (amazing song!)

Don't miss Ronald's vintage dance moves in this one from SNL.

Kick it if you like it.

1. I am an utterly evangelical Sparks fanboy
And have posted many a youtube link on this very site promoting them. They're great!

2. Really?!?! That's terribly cool. Imagine...
how amazed I am to find that they never went away, and are still having hits to this day, after having not seen them for over 30 years.
