I'm suckin' down a Clausthaler
If you ever want a beer that tastes like good beer without the alcohol, this is the one.

3. Saw the n/a St. Pauli Girl in the store
when I got the Clausthaler. I've never tried it — in fact, I didn't even know they made one, so I went with what I know.

Next time, I'll give it a try.

5. ...
I was never a beer connoisseur when I drank, so I would not know a lager from a pilsner, but St. Pauli Girl is definitely a different style than Clausthaler.

Becks also makes a really good N.A. beer.

8. Beck's makes an n/a?
Guess a lot of 'em are now.

But go into almost any bar and ask, "What n/a beers do you have?" You'll hear, "Uh... O'Doul's?"

:puke: :puke: :puke:

12. Hey, O'Douls is better than Sharps
And O'Douls does make an amber which is not bad. The green O'Douls is piss in a bottle though.

13. All the American ones taste pretty much the same to me
Sharps is a bit fuller than O'Doul's, which is like water with a couple of barley seeds in it. Sharps also has a nasty aftertaste.

The only American n/a that's even halfway decent is Coors Cutter.

And I just remembered the Beck's n/a — Haake Beck. Yeah, that one's good.

Buckler (from Heineken) and Kaliber (from Guinness) aren't bad. Kaliber's has that coffee-like Guinness taste, though.

Those are all I've tried.

9. Sounds good. I've been looking for a good one when....
...I'm wanting a cold brew while doing yard work, but don't want the alcohol weighing me down. I'll see if I can find it...

11. It's a little pricey because it's imported
The six-pack I bought last weekend was $6.99. But if there's a better n/a beer out there, I'd like to taste it.

10. We really don't need to know the intimate details
of your relationship with Claus.

Oh, I see now it's a beer. Never mind.

I prefer Kelts, Erdinger or Lowenbräu w/o alcohol. Can't stand Clausthaler.
