1. It's just north of Boca Raton. Maybe 100 miles north of Miami.
I have spent little time there, but I have spent a lot of time in Ft. Lauderdale. I know it's probably crowded, extremely hot and humid in the summer, primarily residential and light commercial.
It is the most liberal city in one of the most liberal counties in the state; Palm Beach County. I went to a South Florida activist meeting today and they handed out these figures that broke down how cities voted.
And Delray Beach went 71.87 percent for Kerry in 2004 while Bush received 27.39 percent of the vote in Delray.
