I'm happy for Nicole Kidman...

I don't think I've ever heard anything bad about this woman. Except for the fact that she married Tom, of course. But, we'll just look at that as a bad decision. She managed to keep to her Catholic faith instead of letting Tom push her into his. She has two adopted children and seems to be a good mother. She went through her divorce with as much grace as could be expected. She has made some good movies (some not so good) and won an Oscar for "The Hours". In every interview I've seen her in, she seemed to be a sweet and modest young woman. I hope her new marriage is a success.

2. There are rumors her infidelity split up the marriage.
She was quoted as saying a few years ago that monogamy is unnatural. After the divorce, Tom was asked about this comment and seemed emotional all of a sudden, and claimed he did not agree with her on that statement. There were many rumors that the child she miscarried wasn't Tom's, and that's what led to the breakup.

I have no more nor less reason to believe that story than any of the Scientology conversion stories blaming Tom. It's all tabloid noise. We don't have one single clue what either one of them is really like. All we know is what their PR departments say and what a few gossip reporters say.

I wish her all the luck in the world, but she's made a liar out of me. I told my kids that I was going to marry her.
