Omar Shariff is so damn cute!
Watching Dr. Zhivago--actually taking a little break. He needs to get an honorary Oscar.

He hosts some of the special features, and he just cracks me up--he seems like he likes everyone. That could just be his shtick, but it does appear real. He was funny in the special features on Lawrence of Arabia also.

5. OMG! Dr. Z is my all-time favorite movie. Yeah, I am old but the
memories are embedded in my mind. I was 16, maybe 17, anyhow my boyfriend at the time went to see this movie. We walked home (about one mile in the SNOW...ah, so romantic) and it will always stay in my mind as one of the best movies ever.

9. I think I read that somewhere
Reminds me of this stupid tv movie he did in the 70's with Victoria Principal--Omar was a high-stakes gambler who saves Victoria's Vegas casino.

First, I was shocked he was alive... Sure he was old but whoa, was he charming and witty and dashing and had great stories about his leading ladies and his grand kids.... he was great!

11. I know, he's just so damn charming, and really doesn't come across
as at all affected.

Although I do have to wonder how he and Babs got along on Funny Girl.

I wonder that about everyone Babs has ever appeared/acted/sang/been with!

16. His eyes are pretty watery in this also.
Reminds me of Katharine Hepburn--she had that similar sort of glow in the eyes.

19. He was devastatingly hot when he rode up on his horse dressed in
black robes in Lawrence of Arabia. Oy! The man was hot.
Now he's just a cutie, cutie pie.
