25. The plane in LOST is going from Sydney to LA when it crashes
and some of the characters/story line is in Australia (I believe its filmed in Hawaii). Its so popular here I just wondered if it was shown in Australia.

9. Marvelous place
Flew into Shannon. and we rented a car. Drove all over Southern Ireland. Favorite places were Galway and Tralee. Galway for the ocean and shopping downtown and Tralee, which is Party Central, or so it seemed. You gotta find a way to get there.

I think the premise of the OP is that you WON the tickets. I assume that would mean that the tickets were free, and that you wouldn't have to pay ANY money.

42. Yep, that's next for me after Italy
I've got an art tour this year in Italy. Next year will be the Venetian countryside with all those Shakespeare towns like Mantua, Verona and Padua. The next year is the Amalfi Coast, Naples and Malta (with a side trip to Siracusa, Sicily),

THEN I'll use those tix to tour Greece. Around 2008, if GWB hasn't blown up the world by then.

39. We're going to Paris next year -- rescheduled by my hubby!
Also, we might try to take the Chunnel to get to London, since we really enjoyed it last month. We might also get to stay at the Waldorf on the Strand -- pretty elegant digs -- now that Hilton merged with that chain.

"Oh, the posh, posh traveling life -- the traveling life for me." (Dick Van Dyke? What song in what movie?)

then we would buy a ticket for our daughter too.

We actually have been talking about going back to Spain for our 25th (two yrs from now) and taking her along to see all the stuff we have talked about for her entire life.

On the other hand, England would be wonderful and I have always wanted to go there

40. Both are great, Yellow Dog. What month? What cities?
London was just a great deal of fun for us last month -- we might go back for a week again next year, following a week in Paris, France that got scrubbed this past trip.

We've covered a lot of Spain, including Madrid, Toledo and other places on tour many years ago. The language barrier wasn't too bad, but I've forgotten so much of my Spanish that it was kind of difficult. I like to be able to speak the language of the country and that's why we chose the U.K. this year.

How old is your daughter? Will she enjoy doing the things that you two want to do?

62. why do I have to bring someone?
I know you meant no harm but I find the emphasis on coupling in general to be troubling. It's as if you're sending a subtle signal to all single people people that there's something wrong with them. Couldn't you give them the option to take two trips alone?

But to answer your question I'd use your ticket to go to some exotic island, probably in the South Pacific.
