2. I remember summers in Phoenix Arizona...
112 to 115. I bet if you had some pam, and an egg you could fry it on a car hood.
I am glad to be in San Francisco..at least we have the fog for relief.

4. 100 I think?
Today's supposed to be 103.

The measurements are taken downtown near the river. It's a good 3-5 degrees hotter here in the south county.

7. I've toyed with starting a 'dry heat' thread.
The low humidity does make a huge difference in comfort level for me up to about 95 degrees. Higher than that and I can't say that I know or care about the difference -- it's too damn hot.

102 yesterday, inland San Fran area.

9. the bad thing up here as you probably know is the air quality
we're on "Spare the air days" for at least the next week. It's like you go outside and you literally cannot breathe.

11. We're on Spare the Air days too, but our valleys aren't as big
and we don't get anywhere near the number of those days as you do. We don't get as many +100 days either. What's making this one nasty for us is there are no late day breezes.

here in the Atlanta area. But my outdoor thermometer was only at 87 degrees.
