3. What exactly do you mean, 'do'?
:P

I lived near Bertucci's # 1 In Somerville, Mass. -- when it was the only one. The owner, Joey Crugnale, was a local legend in the premium ice cream business. He wanted to create a more authenic Italian pizza place and Bertucci's was born. The menu was just pizza, antipasti, Italian beer, Italian mineral water, and soft drinks. It also had an indoor bocce court. That location is now closed, IIRC.

Bertucci's is one chain that I will seek out when out of town and can't get any local recommendations. I do have to say that they made everything a little more middle of the road when they went national.

and I don't think I've ever been to an Olive Garden.

...the other night something funny happened...

i was hangin' out with my little girl watching TV and she said,
"i could go for a Bertucci's roll right now".

two seconds later (literally) a Bertucci's roll was on the screen and then the camera panned out to the table.
I had never seen a Bertucci's TV ad before and almost died of shock. :wow:

I could go for a Bertucci's pizza right now. Eggplant (or roasted peppers) and carmelized onions please. Antipasto Arrosto too. :9

5. I love the olive in the middle of the pizza. I bought and tried a
million olives, trying to get some just like it.

Then I asked Bertucci's. It's just an ordinary black olive marinated in spices. They gave me a whole container for free.
