We adopted him so he wouldn't have to be put down.
He's a physically beautiful cat but he's pardon my french An @$$hole.

Here I am at the age of four in 1972. This was in a rare non-raging moment.


In 1988 after dropping out of high school and getting a job at the Miami Seaquarium, where I met these three Norwegian tourists. I later got a GED and bachelors degree.



In 1995, when I lived in Spain after graduating college, working as a karaoke MC. It was the best summer of my life.


In 2004, on my road trip back to Miami from Phoenix where I had been working as a newspaper reporter. I had stopped off in a Tampa motel to await Hurricane Charley because I was planning on photographing it. I remember pulling into Tampa on a lonely highway as hundreds of cars were evacuating in the opposite direction. I set up my camera on a tripod to show the closet where I had planned to take shelter if the hurricane got too strong. Note the flashlight and battery-operated radio in the background as well as the TV screen. I was fully prepared, but the hurricane ended up hitting south of Tampa even though it was supposed to be a direct hit. I was pissed.
