I can't imagine why anyone would be bothered by that. Music snobs are even more tedious than wine snobs:)

5. I also like Enya
I have the best of Enya collection. I also had "A Day Without Rain" but someone stole it from me at work. They must have liked Enya also because there were a few other cds with it too and only that one was taken.

13. So do I
Her newer CDs are a little monotonous and a rehashing, but there's not much better than Paint The Sky With Stars: The Best Of Enya for relaxing.

She's absolutely beautiful, too. A very classic beauty...

Slender, pale skin, large eyes, a strong face. Beautiful.

19. So do I. And just for info, there isn't a damned person here that
influences who or what I like or do not like. To me, their "snobbery" just makes them look foolish when they think that their opinion should have any impact at all.

20. I also come out and say who I like
I even love some teen pop like Brie Larson and Cheyenne Kimball.. but maybe I won't get bashed since they aren't Britney and Christina.

21. I don't see anything wrong with liking some. It's supposed to be
'pop'ular. I pretty much wouldn't know any if it came up and bit me, since I don't listen to the radio anymore, but I'm sure I'd like some if I listened.

BTW, even some Britney songs are irresistible ("Baby One More Time," "Lucky," "Toxic," "Brave New Girl," "Everytime.")

31. Although Enya doesn't really do it for me...she was seminal in her own way
I mean think about it - before Enya, elevator music was..well...elevator music. We had orchestral versions of hoary pop tunes with the reverb turned to '11'.

She comes along, and gives us something that's actually soothing to listen to while on hold. Finally, music that does not make me want to commit suicide.

So shoot me. :eyes:

And we've ALL heard about my Fagen/Becker obsession. ;)

And yet, despite loving these musicians who are apparently "commercial sell-outs" or something of that sort, I still love jazz, etc.

Yup, I'm a reich-winger all the way, baby. :eyes:
