A Heartwarming Story - Family cat buried in concrete crypt

(Salt Lake City-WABC, June 17, 2006) "Tom the Curious Cat" was buried alive in a concrete crypt.

His owners say he snuck into a huge driveway pothole, before construction crews came and filled it in.

(Salt Lake City-WABC, June 17, 2006) - There's a very lucky kitty in Salt Lake City.
"Tom the Curious Cat" was buried alive in a concrete crypt. His owners say he snuck into a huge driveway pothole, before constructions crews came and filled it in.

After missing for two days, Tom's worried family heard him meowing from under the garage floor!

When they realized he was trapped, animal control brought workers in to cut through the concrete. Tom then jumped out quickly.

1. Yay for Tom!
Being buried alive had to be so scary. It's one of my irrational fears. :scared:
