Anybody do dream interpretation?
What does dreaming of being in labor and having a baby mean?

It doesn't make any literal sense, as 1. I am not pregnant 2. I don't want to be 3. The dream was nothing like the birth of LeftyKid.

1. Are you taking on any big projects?
Lots of things are like giving birth. Starting a new job. Finishing a project. Starting a project/something new. Wanting to start something new.

Anything like that?

3. Yeah, and so whatever the dream was like, that's how you feel about it.
Or, that's how you feel about one aspect of it, how you think it'll go, etc.

4. An amateur interpretation:

Since this birth was nothing like the birth of LK and since you wanted LK and are happy with him in your life, I'm guessing you weren't reliving that incident as an unresolved trauma. The fact that the labor was complete and the baby was healthy sugggests that is wasn't a dream of fear, like, "Oh no! I don't ever want to have another child again because something bad will happen!" So I'd say that subconsciously you want another child. Consciously you might be telling yourself that you don't want to be pregnant again because of external factors - finances or familial influences or whatever - but subconsciously, the desire for another child and a sibling for LK is on your mind to the point of manifesting itself in your dreams, at least.

FWIW.

6. Dreaming of giving birth
usually means creativity in any of it's myriad expressions coming into being. I think tjdee hit the nail on the head. Are you studying art or cooking or computers, anything that causes you to create?
