Well, I came awfully close to getting in a bar fight tonight and getting
hauled off by the police.....

After work, I decided I wanted to have a few beers at the local pub down the street. Turns out this was a big mistake, since I was only looking to having a few beers and MIND MY OWN FUCKING BUSINESS...YOU FUCKING PEOPLE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT? Apparently, some dick-nose DID have a problem with it....

Before I continue, let me say that there is SOMETHING about me that attracts negative energy from other males...no matter where I go, whether it be a bar, restaurant or night club I seem to be a magnet for macho-ass drunken dick-faces who want to start an argument ( or fight ) with me. I just don't get it, guys....do I not fit in to your miserable, pathetic fucking circle-jerk expectations of what a "man" should be? Don't get me wrong...I really don't give a rats hairy asshole if your expectations of me do not meet your ignorant standards. I couldn't care less if you fuckers were dead in a train wreck...I'm just curious, that's all.

Anyways.....I go to the bar and order a lager. There is this douchebag sitting next to me who I recognize as someone who has given me grief in the past ( he was drunk,of course ) And he turns to me and says "Well, are you going to give me your apology"? Confused, I looked at him and said "For what"? He said "Last Thursday at trivia night you looked to the guy sitting to your right ( my roommate,it turns out ) and told him that you weren't going to play trivia with me because I was a homo ". I told him that I never said such a thing ( and I DID NOT ). He insisted that I did and dogged me about it for the remainder of the evening...I finally WENT BALLISTIC ON HIM and told him, basically " I know things that I said and more importantly I know things that I didn't say, and the things I know I didn't say hold more weight with me than what you THOUGHT you heard me say".

I don't use the word "homo"...I have a few gay friends, I find it very offensive, so I'm mindful of this...and I know I did NOT utter this phrase that night ( no matter how many beers I consumed, I KNOW I did not utter that phrase ). Still, this bastard insisted that I said this to him....over,and over, and over again until I threatened him with physical violence....

That's right, physical violence..I told him that if he did not stop harassing me that I was going to rip his head off of his shoulders and surprisingly, he gave up.:eyes:

Anyway, does anyone here feel like I was out of line? I did my very best to keep my cool, but this guy was out looking for a confrontation

1. You held it in pretty well.
I don't think you were out of line, since that guy was acting like an asshole.

I remember an incident that happened to a friend and I in college. We were at a local bar/club in small-town Texas where the school was also located.

A drunk white guy came up to us (we're both Indian), and the guy asked if either one of us called him an asshole. We had never seen the guy before, so we obviously didn't call him that, but then again, he was drunk.

Still, I found it morbidly hilarious that he could confuse my friend and me. My friend was six inches taller, a lot thinner and had facial hair -- a blind person couldn't confuse us. I just figured the guy was a redneck.

4. Did you ask him if he hears voices ALL the time, or only when he is in
bars? I said that to this guy tonight, when he insisted I said something I know I didn't...he didn't know what to say ( I guess it was because he was too busy guzzling his "man juice" ). MACHO, MACHO, MAN....I'VE GOTTA BE A MACHO MAN!!!!!!!!!!

2. I would have done it a little different...
I would have told him that not only would I rip off his head, but I would shit down his fucking neck as well.

Just saying

3. Well now that you mention it, I was just getting down to the part about
shitting down his neck, but at a certain point the guy left after he had nobody else to talk to.....I see we are on the same wavelength, though:D
