Some of us bolted from a blogger's party because it was getting too darned crowded, so we headed to a nearby restaurant and settled in, and that's where I told the joke.

Yes, jaws were dropping, and someone actually pounded the table at the end. It was fun.

A friend asked me to watch the movie because I was talking about how much I enjoy words, and word play.
I hated it at first, then I "got" it...

I would be very interested in a version told at a DEM convention. A Texas Democratic convention at that. Oh my dear, you may have topped them all.
