MY CAT JUST CAME IN MAKING A WEIRD NOISE!!!
I got up from my computer.

"Coltrane? What's wrong?"

He's looking at me...meowing but not opening his mouth.

I thought he was injured. I freaked out for a short second. I ran across the room.

"COLTRANE!"

He looks at me..."PATOOEY"...he spits a VERY large dragonfly out at my feet.

"Uh...thanks buddy."

I felt bad for the dragonfly...we don't get a lot around here and it was beautiful. Now its wadded up in the trash.

Cats...not the best at giving gifts.

7. I quickly know what I want to know about people...
if when they meet my cats...they "get it".

But I work in concert production. Most of my friends in the industry got it immediately

4. That's his "I'm talking with my mouth full" meow!
I had a cat who used to stand at the screen door with various small critters (living and dead) - she actually got in a couple of times before I learned to inspect her mouth before opening the door...

8. Hey, you're lucky, at least he spit it back out
My childhood cat twice got chicken bones stuck in his throat after a night of kitty carousing. Both times it was a trip to the vet to get them out.
