In trying to find out wtf flag day was, I found out that Canada apparently has a flag day. Funny no one ever talks about it.

I propose we get rid of the flag days, the canada days, the Independence days, and just have an international nationalism day, when everyone can duke it out over who's flag is prettiest, who's laws are freest, and who's got the bigger ding dong (I think Florida will carry the US through on that one, though Russia's still in the running). Then, the next day we can go back to being normal people without this overweening vanity over landmass weighing down our souls.
