You can't live without...
I can't live without my painkillers and migraine medication. Thank all the Gods and Toothfaeries for good effective medication.

What can't you live without? What makes your life wonderful, or bearable, or the way you want it to be?

2. That's awesome.
I'm single, childless, and destined to stay that way. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have a family.

As disfunctional as every family inevitably is, that's really cool that your family is that important to you.

Of course there are times to be serious, but I don't ever want to be serious all the time! :D I don't take myself too seriously and love the humor in every situation. :)

But if it's good safe fun then that's awesome. Your posts are often fun. I hope you stay safe so you can stick around for a long time. We need you here.

Edited on Mon Jun-12-06 02:28 PM by NewWaveChick1981
Well, not TOO dangerous...;) Here are some of my favorite fun things to do (in no particular order): 1) Hang out at the DU Lounge; 2) play with my dogs; 3) travel; 4) listen to my favorite music; 5) be pampered at a day spa; 6) watch funny movies and/or standup comedians; 7) have sex; 8) take college classes (although I haven't done this for a while); 9) read a really good book; 10) spend time with people I love.

20. I'm being a little silly, but I think I picked that to represent
the things that are intrinsically unimportant but are the treats that make life special and fun and interesting, food that is not sustenance, music, some little thing you see that you are pretty certain you are the only one to notice, an inside joke between you and the universe.

When all else is in shambles around me, I can usually muster the materials I need to sit down with a hot cup of tea and some fresh cinnamon toast and reflect that for a few minutes, everything is perfect.

Well, I really think a good sex life opens your mind toward other avenues..

It's a basic need, a drive, if you will, that must be sated...

Or else other areas of your life will be out of wack, so to speak....

9. Books.
So many things to choose from -- there are many things I feel I can't live without, but if I couldn't read, I would be lost. It's the primary way that I learn. I don't read the paper, don't watch the news, don't study anything formally.

When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes.

He is off the ventilator, off the balloon pump and off the IV meds. Hopefully will leave ICU and go to the step down until today or tomorrow.

Still a lot of pain, but that is to be expected. The surgeon is pleased with how he is doing.

He will need additional surgery to have a defibrillator implanted, so I took the opportunity while he was sleeping to come home and see about getting that covered with insurance. Apparently, they like to wait 90 days from the date of diagnosis to do the surgery, and waiting that long will put me right straight into the nuthouse.

Love rode 1500 miles on a grey
hound bus & climbed in my window
one night to surprise
both of us.

shock has lasted a decade
now or more because she is
always still doing it and I am
always still pleased. I do indeed like
aggressive women
