2. That's the last single of theirs I bought.
Still have the picture-sleeve 45.

It's nice that they appended it to the CD rerelease of La Folie, which is one of my very favorite albums. Why haven't I listened to that lately?

4. I just bought the cd of La folie...
had it on vinyl years ago, but hadn't listened to it in a while.
Their stuff holds up well, but they stray a bit sometimes.
Youtube has a lot of their videos, the studio ones are
pretty good. A few good live ones, but some crappy ones also.
I do like the Tori Amos version, but it has the benefit of modern
mixing.

I like the video for All roads lead to Rome.
Very deadpan take on our empire. Pop meets Philip Glass.

Big in America is a cheesy production, but it has some eerie
symbolism with twin towers.

3. The demo version is certainly interesting.
The note for "girl" on the chorus that Hugh changed for the final is jarring. Interesting that his guitar solo didn't change a bit, though. I always loved his style of guitar playing.
