Democratic volunteer implicated in dog feces incident

GREELEY (AP) - A Weld County Democratic Party volunteer is due in court August 10, after allegedly leaving an envelope full of dog feces at a Rep. Marilyn Musgrave's Colorado office.

Authorities say a preprinted return address on the envelope was blacked out, but staffers for GOP Representative Marilyn Musgrave traced it to Kathleen Ensz through a nine-digit zip code still on the package.

Ensz tells The Associated Press she says it "wasn't in the office doors, it was in the foyer."

She refused to elaborate.
