Ipod Software?
Is there a program other than iTunes that I can use to transfer songs from my ipod mini to my computer?

1. iTunes is a one way street
Technically, it can only transfer music from a computer to an iPod, not the other way around. (to prevent unauthorized copying)

However, there are several shareware programs that allow you to copy back and forth. I like iPodRip (for mac), but you can find several variations at www.versiontracker.com (mac and pc)

2. SharePod
This program is awesome. You install it to a new folder on your iPod and it runs from there!

You can transfer songs to and from your iPod from your computer or anybody's computer without worrying about deleting their library! Best of all, it's completely free.

3. what i'd really love...
is for the transfers to be like using explorer....no fancy interfaces....
