No, not a joke. I'm an obsessive compulsive. Effexor was the only drug that seemed to do anything to help... and even then, not much.
I have only one more month on it then I go see my doc again. I'm gonna tell him I want therapy. Fuck this drug shit. There's a clinic I want to get into but it's a long wait. Until then I'll have well pressed shirts.

47. Paxil was the big Art School killer in the late eighties for my art school

friends, that and Perkodan. Effexor doesn't affect
me that much. Except I don't try kill myself before
breakfast.

Paxil gave these odd swishing auditory hallucinations.
Very disconcerting. If you were getting bad vibes off
Effexor then you don't need an SSRI.

As for FA SFU.........Jeff Wall was my adviser there
between 1984 and 1987. I loved it there. I also worked
with Jerry Zazlov and Martin Bartlett. (God rest his soul)

They were great, but the rest of the students and faculty
were a bunch of retards.

Eg. I got in a big argument with Donna Zapf, a purported
feminist musicologist who got her job by fucking her MA
adviser at UVIC. She made references to him in a lecture
by calling him a her 'shaman'. A "beautiful man" hurk!!!

In fact he was a third rate music historian from the
University of Manchester boinking her on the side until
the wife found out.

Any way my first day there Donna insulted me in class and
I called her on it. By the time we were finished she was
shedding copious crocodile tears, accusing me of attacking
her. Meanwhile my soon to be adviser, Jeff Wall was sitting
behind me.

From that day forward I was the least known, most feared,
and least respected student in the BFA program at SF.

Trouble is Jeff Wall liked me which fucked everybody up.
