Hey everyone, I'm back from my hiatus!!

Here's some news in my life you might find interesting:

I got a new apartment. I'm now living in an AIR-CONDITIONED studio apartment that is at least 4 times bigger than my old prison cell of a single dorm room that I was living in. I finally have my OWN BATHROOM, which means that I don't feel self-conscious whenever I have to take a shit and I find out my suitemates are out in the suite foyer jabbering on near the bathroom door. I also have my own kitchen, which KICKS ASS, because I can make my own meals. Basically, my old room was smaller than the rooms that good-behaviour inmates at medium security prisons live in. I watched a prison documentary on TLC one night in my dorm, and they were showing one of the good inmates at a prison in Minnesota, and I saw him walking into his cell, and his room was twice as big as mine!! Anyway, my place kicks ass now. I no longer live in a 7x10 cell that broils in hot weather. I now have a climate-controlled 400 square-foot studio apartment.

I got a new job. It's at a large truck stop off Interstate 29 in Fargo, so we get a LOT of truckers there. I've met some interesting people so far, and most of them seem to be really friendly. I always have considered truckers as the "high society" of the blue collar workers. It's a good job, and it has a lot less stress than the store I worked at in Minneapolis. I also make enough so that I can pay for my food, gas and insurance and still have cash left over. My rent and utilities are billed onto my tuition, so I'm basically balancing half a budget. I finally live in Fargo year-round. I make a pretty good amount of money also. I got my first check yesterday, and after all my groceries, gas and medications, I've still got a wad of cash in my pants. Overall, things are looking up for me.

So that's kind of what's going on right now. I guess I've kind of lost interest in DU for a while, that's why I wasn't here. But I'm still alive, believe me.:D
