Except for Satan occupying the White House, 6/6/6 has been unremarkable.

Sure people are starving in Dafur, and extreme violence continues to stain Iraq. OK, there's global climate change, desertification, and the issue of further inequity in wealth distribution, the destruction of the oldest Democratic constitution in the world, etc...

...but overall there is nothing special about 6/6/6 beyond the release of yet another Hollywood remake, The Omen.

With all the hoopla, one somehow expected something more dramatic. Oh well, the day's not over.
