A stamp upside down means sent w/ love...
and I usually do this, but this time my stamps have the flag on them, which is a sign of distress.

Distressful love?

2. I had not thought of that.
I just mail all my stamps upside down, except Capital One.

3. I learned it differently.....
It means there's a tab of acid under it and you should peel off the stamp and lick it.

A little druggie culture lore. Extended, it means "there is something hidden in this letter; look closely"

Why worry about upside down flag stamps? I know people who do that on purpose: our country is in distress!

Khash.

5. Upside down stamp just means "I'm in a hurry."
I'm sure I've put stamps on upside down, sideways and everywhich way. Getting a stamp right just doesn't strike me as important. I now feel sorry for all those people who got my letters and wondering whether the stamp meant something.
