A question about making coffee. HELP
Is it one scoop of coffee per cup of water or two scoops? I like my coffee fairly strong. I haven't made coffee in about 6 years.

1. Two scoops is a bit much.. try one per cup.. unless you are the only
one drinking it- and don't mind it real strong.

3. How big is the scoop?
I have to say, I just know how far up the side of the grinder is the right amount - that way I don't have to think.

4. The Specialty Coffee Association of America recommends
two tablespoons for every 6oz of water. Most coffeemakers are calibrated where one "cup" is 5oz (yes, it's wierd.) For most coffees I usually use one level measuring tablespoon for every 5oz coffeemaker "cup". I save the 2-tbl/6oz recipe for the really good Guatemalan or Sumatran coffees I sometimes get. MMMmmmmmmm! :D

5. You have coffee?
I'm working from home today and ran out this morning. Guess what, I'm going out for lunch and will grab a pound of beans and buzz my way through the rest of the day.

9. I use a rounded tablespoon
and put three of those to make four cups, my carafe says it's seven cups, but my cup is larger so three/four works for me, if I want a little stronger I will heap up a spoon,
