Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the Early Morning Crew thread! :bounce: I hope your Monday was a good one! I spent most of the day here at home babysitting the dog and working around the house, so mine wasn't too bad. I went to Best Buy and looked at digital cameras in the early afternoon to replace the one that went bad on me and what I noticed is that they are all so *tiny* now. Some look like they are credit card size or something and most don't even have view finders. Unless I spend $1200 for a Minolta and I'm not about to spend THAT much money! x( I'm going to try to make a decision today on one though, because I need a new one.

AirmensMom sent me a private last night so they have their internet service back again! :woohoo: Hopefully, we'll see her here today! :bounce:

Today is my 2nd day off this week, and it feels good, let me tell ya! I really needed these two days of R&R because last week was rough on me over at the store.

3. Good morning Clint!

My Monday was OK. After I got off work I went to Home Depot for some landscaping rocks, top soil and painting supplies. Then I stopped off at Duron for some paint. Once I got home I slept, then got up, showered and got dressed. Then I did laundry, had dinner and left for work. Now here I've been all night. :bounce:.

Yesterday I spend the whole day in my pj's and didn't do anything except watching TV, reading and napping. And eating of course. But I really did wash my clothes. I need stuff to wear after all. This afternoon I will go in a mall with my friend. Maybe I find something I wanna buy.

We get 100% humidity sometimes, so the air is completely saturated with moisture. THAT'S what's uncomfortable. The hotter the better says I as well! Now if we could just keep the humidity down...

No decision on a digital yet? $1,200 is a lot, especially if it's jut for "snaps". I like the idea of those really small ones, they fit nicely in pockets, no heavy bags to haul around.

I'm here for a few minutes, just to say hi. HI EVERYONE! :hi: It's a beautiful morning here and we finally got some good sleep last night. The movers were here until 10:30. They are the BEST crew! The boss asked if I would use Allied again and I told him I would only if he was our driver. :loveya:

I recommend Canon cameras, for what it's worth. We have three of them, two digital and one film. You can get them for less than $400 now and they have something like 7 megapixels. The one I have has a nice viewfinder and a huge viewing window, even though the camera is very small.

Anyway, it's good to be back. I missed all my friends and can't wait to get back into normal mode here. :loveya: :hug: :grouphug:

Yes, $1200 is too much. The only time it WOULDN'T be too much is if one were a professional photographer and made ones living by taking pictures. Not for someone like me who takes the occasional picture at special functions and things. :rofl:
