Did you ever have to stray from one another to figure things out in your own life? What was the cause? How long was the time away from one another?

We both strayed a few times years ago - for me it was just thrills but in her case she did contemplate leaving me.

Just 3 days ago I confessed some stuff I didn't tell her that happened 2 years ago. I feel SO relieved it's all on the up-and-up again (it was affecting our affection not telling her the whole truth). I've always known she is my soulmate. It took her an affair a few years ago to realise it.

since I'm copycatting it... :D

I don't know if we could be called "soulmates", but we were apart for awhile early on. I guess we needed to develop a more realistic viewpoint.
