My friend's daughter is graduating from college in a week or so.

Getting a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I figure she can write her own ticket. She'll probablyy start grad school right away. She loves academia. She's in California.

I have a friend who teaches high school in northeast Texas who says none of the kids are planning to study math or science. They all want to be baptist music ministers, preachers, and youth ministers.

For Christmas, I get her and her sister fun stuff for gals their ages, like fancy evening bags, etc. I've known her since before she turned three, when she was an only child. She's really cool. And beautiful. And smart.
