Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 11:53 AM by Radio_Lady
6:66 PM

I kid you not -- it's right on my invitation. (Seriously, I guess it translates to 7:06 PM -- bummer -- never seen time stated this way!)

The movie opens tomorrow -- on Tuesday, JUNE 6, 2006.

Could be ... who knows?

15. UPDATE: Two smilies are getting married in the morning.
Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 04:47 PM by Radio_Lady
LynnSin, you bring the cake, I'll bring the veil.

PS. It might be two fellas from Massachusetts, so forget the veil. (A nod to the predominant story in the DU today, Bush's idiotic pushback on the gay marriage issue. Did you happen to see or hear Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) list all the things he thought Congress could dwell on -- besides this?)

In peace,

5. Geez, why do they have to keep remaking the classics?
The original scared the crap outta me as a wee tyke making it all flashy and new takes away the mystique for me.

9. Why? That's simple. It's money!
Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 01:16 PM by Radio_Lady
(1976) The Omen grossed almost $61 million.

(1978) Damian: The Omen Part II = $26.5 million

(1981) The Final Conflict: Omen III = $20.4 million

17. They're not getting any of my money.
But I know what you're saying. :-)

The original was shown on TCM this past weekend and it is still as creepy as it always was.

It's all for you Damien!

20. Original was scary. New Damien looks dorky, to me. They couldn't
possibly do better than Gregory Peck & Blythe Danner with Julia Stiles and whoever.
