Chatted with John Glover last night - what a sweetheart
A truly kind and interesting man. SO & I saw him in a new Terrance McNally production, my SO went over afterwards and thanked him for his performance, and then SO & I went out to eat at a sidewalk cafe nearby.

As we were finishing dessert, Glover came out of the cafe with a bunch of friends. He was incredibly kind and patient with the Albanian staff, who all wanted pictures with him. When they left, he was standing a few feet from our table, so we called him over and told him how much we had enjoyed him at another show he did at a Princeton theater we used to subscribe to, and we chatted about that theater and the production we had just seen. He was so gracious and charming, and it just made our night.

I've loved him ever since I saw him as Satan in "Brimstone", and we love "Smallville", and have seen him in a few things on stage as well.

1. Oh, yeah, the Donald Trump character in Gremlins 2.
I always confused him with David Rasche (Sledge Hammer).
