my cat snores.
There's a point when she's sleeping, where her perma-purr becomes a snore. I don't want to disturb her, but it's like sleeping nex to an idling Husqvarna.

1. My sweetie snores...
And the cat comes running to sleep on top of her,
because he thinks she's purring.

2. My cat has kept me up with his snoring.
He's a Norwegian Forest Cat. In the area of 20 pounds. Big cat. Really friendly. My screen name is his real name.

One night I was going to bed and he decides to join me. I didn't mind, until I realized I wasn't getting any sleep after about an hour of trying.

Sure enough, ol' fatso is sound asleep the entire time, his snore box working like a train engine. I awoke the next day bleary-eyed and exhausted.

The next night, he slept on the floor; his sister (who doesn't snore) slept on the bed instead, and I slept like the proverbial baby.

The best part?

I could still hear his snoring when he was halfway across the room and on the floor. Yet it wasn't as loud, so I was able to sleep.

3. So does
The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger. Sometimes, it's kind of a whistle-like snore, and other times, it's an outright manly, sawing logs snore. And it doesn't matter whether he's taking a nap indoors or outdoors. He snores everywhere.

4. My roomie's cat snores
It's this funny squeaky little noise that makes me laugh (albeit quietly, so I don't wake him).

8. My cat has a funny, squeaky snore too.
I'll never forget the first time I heard it. I was looking around the room, thinking, "What in the hell is that noise?" When I reallized it was coming from the sleeping cat I LMAO.

7. My cat growls in his sleep
You know that low throaty growl cats make when they see another cat enter their territory? Oliver does that. It makes me wonder what he's dreaming about.

My late dog Sullivan used to bark in his sleep. It wasn't a full-blown bark, more like a muffled bark. His paws used to move around too, as though he was out chasing squirrels.

10. One of ours does. He sort of whistle-snores.
Only when he's really out, though. It's cute.

12. One of my guys snores, too.
Nemo snores very softly until he throws in a few
throaty grunts in between the snarking.

His hind paws start twitching wildly at times.
I bet he's chasing a lizard in his sleep.

;)

13. One of mine does, too. And so does
my dog.

It's amusing until it actually prevents me from falling asleep, but I can't bring myself to disturb the snoring beasts :D
