I almost got nostalgic for Jar Jar after suffering through his "acting": "Where's Padme? Is she OK? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
That tripe didn't do much to bolster my opinion of Natalie Portman, either (altho she partially redeemed herself in V for Vendetta)

8. I like star wars though I do agree his acting left something to be desired

Strangely enough, Hayden Christen did a wonderful acting job in a movie called "Shattered Glass". I don't know why his performances were so different.

9. It doesn't surprise me.

The acting in general is just plain bad, and I've seen the actors in other movies do really well. I think it's because the script is just so bad, and the actors don't have much to work with. I could actually see Natalie Portman struggling with it in one scene. She was clearly trying to do the best she could with what she had. I saw Episode III last night for the first time, and thought everything about it was just plain awful. I thought I was okay, II was enjoyable, but I'm glad I didn't shell out any money for III.
