BOOMERS: Anyone else miss some of the old b/w shows
I realize they have TCM, but they have slim pickings.

Our Gang
Laurel and Hardy
The Three Stooges
The Bowery Boys
Tarzan (with Johnny Weismueller) sp?
Dobie Gillis
Topper (the series)
My Little Margie
Father Knows Best
Ernie Kovacs
Soupy Sales
...etc....

I found this nostalgic site which might mention your local favorites:

1. They were pretty good.
Johnny and Maureen made a couple of greats, like "Tarzan The Ape Man" and "Tarzan's New York Adventure."

2. I loved Topper
that was one of my all time favorites.

My Saturday mornings were not about watching cartoons. It was Roy Rogers, My Friend Flicka, Fury, Sky King, Cisco Kid,, Lone Ranger. :-)

4. Soupy Sales!
And I can't believe that someone else remembers 'My Little Margie'!

What about 'Private Secretary' with Ann Sothern?

'Oh, Susanna!' with Gale Storm and Zasu Pitts.

'The Real McCoys' with Walter Brennan and Richard Crenna.

'December Bride' with Spring Byington, and a VERY YOUNG Harry Morgan (later Col. Potter on M*A*S*H*)

'Love That Bob' with Bob Cummings and Nancy Culp.

'I Married Joan' with Joan Davis and Jim Backus.

(BTW: Thanks for the link, AND the memories!)

5. I remember almost all the ones you mention
I wish they would show them on TV once in awhile....wouldn't that be great?
