I'm leaving DU!
To go on vacation until next Sunday. Wish me luck. I'm going to visit my family in the bible belt. Though with any luck I'll be able to squeeze in a visit to Six Flags and Mammoth Cave.

...Kentucky to be surprisingly open minded. Paducah comes to mind as a town that has aggressively recruited artists.

6. Funny you should mention that.
The folks I am staying with in Kentucky are my boyfriend's (after 15 years, I should call him hubby but life partner I guess is better) Aunt and Uncle who are very liberal and invited me and him to visit.
