6. Ewe!
But I saw a segment on tv once about animals (mostly dogs) who go to day care. And they actually have a big yellow bus that picks them up and various bus stops. They had a camera on the bus and most of the dogs sit on the seat and look out the window. I kid you not!!! They appeared (from the short segment) better behaved then most middle school kids.

But I bet that bus reeked. On the movie "The Labyrinth" there was a "bog of eternal stench". Whenever my dog gets wet he gets renamed the "dog of eternal stench"

LOL! :yoiks: At least I crack myself up! :-)

7. "Bog of Eternal Stench!" I love it! I'll be using that in reference to
rightwing websites in the future, you can bet on that.

13. Redstone, as a person who hates the idea of stranded pets left to

die in agony after a natural disaster...don't you want to be my DU buddy anymore? This post HURT me, sir. I'll miss seeing your postings around the site. There are a lot of other folks who are going to go on my Ignore list, too, of course, but...seriously. This attitude is callous. It makes me sad that a lot of the individuals posting this disgusting stuff probably have small children, and think there's absolutely no difference between a cruel, indifferent response to the idea of an animal suffering and a similar response to that of an injured or dying child...horrible. There's a reason that animal cruelty is considered one of the three main criteria for sociopathy, you know. Anyway, see ya. I'm actually kind of disappointed in myself because I considered you a friendly, respectable individual.

8. They can flame me with you
If the question is between fitting another person on the bus, or letting people bring their pets, I say, "Sorry pets - thanks for the companionship, but it's time for you to make the ultimate sacrifice."

Animals cannot have priority over the people. And not every person is unallergic to animals, either - I'm frightfully allergic to animals with fur. Though, if the situation allowed for it, I would not begrudge animals on the evacuation bus and would just suck up the allergy problem. But never would I allow animals at the cost of taking up room that people need.

No reason my wife should have to suffer with allergies because some dipshit "needs" to take their cat.

12. I'd make an effort to put food in the cat's bowl before I left.
I admit it: I care infinitely more about my children, my neighbors and my neighbors' children than I do about my own pet. Or anybody else's.
