Nice to see you today. Haven't been in the Lounge much over the weekend; spent lots of in in GD reading some of the wonderful Memorial Day posts over there.

Yes, indeed...Spring!

It is my favorite season!

Yes, the third picture is of the fruit on my peach tree....

Alas, they look a lot better than they taste.....

This area is just not ideal for peaches......

So, after I found that out......I just leave the fruit on the tree for the birds and the squirrels....

Glad you like the pics! Thanks for your comments today!

Actually, one of my favorite things about California is the "weird" flowers that grow here.

I'm not normally a plant person, but they're definitely more interesting here than they are in the Midwest.

Thanks for the pics, they're gorgeous!

22. Can you identify these beauties for us?
My guesses:

day lily
some type of daisy
plums
wild lilac.

BTW, I'm surprised your wild lilac is in bloom now. They're pretty much exhausted up here in Seattle.

25. I'm going to guess
Peruvian daffodil,
coreopsis,
can't say
& what they call in Oregon a "California lilac".

Those do look a bit like plums, but I don't know if they sit up in a little bunch like that!

CaliforniaPeggy, have you heard from your doctor yet?

Close, but no cigar!

Peruvian Daffodil

I'm not sure about the daisy.

Peach tree!

Some sort of salvia, or sage.....Not a lilac. These guys bloom a lot of the year down here...

Glad you liked them!

I am not familiar with the first flower at all. It's stunning!

Your coreopsis are probably the only ones I will see this year. We have a baby bunny who has taken up residence in our day lillies and he comes out to eat the coneflowers and the coreopsis. They're reduced to stubbles now..but at least bunny is growing fast and has a very fat tummy.

I will have to check them out. They're absolutely gorgeous.

The coneflowers and coreopsis will come back although they may not bloom until next year. Each year the baby bunnies manage to eat one or two plants. Last year it was all the tall phlox plants. I don't mind..as you said it's a good cause.
