Poll question: What's your favorite Cookie?
Edited on Wed Dec-10-03 04:10 PM by corarose
I am taking a poll because I am making cookies as gifts for friends, my doormen, cleaning guys in my building, etc.

What is your favorite cookie?

1. Ginger
My mother has the most wonderful ginger cookie recipe. They're so soft and chewy. She uses TJ Blackburn cane syrup in them instead of molasses. Yumm...

5. Oh, I like gingerbread cookies too...
in fact I'm making some this weekend for xmas. Yummy. But what my momma makes aren't gingerbread cookies. They're better. :-) I suppose technically they're like ginger snaps but they aren't so crunchy.

They don't even have Snickers bars in them? Am I the only one disturbed by this?

9. I don't get it either
Is someone snickering because they created a recipe that the title doesn't fit the cookie.

• Peanut butter kisses
• Rum balls (probably made with brandy because that’s what I happen to have)

24. Yummy, oatmeal raisin for me also
I would easily be 15 pounds lighter without those wonderful goodies, especially at the Treasure Island buffet here in Las Vegas, plus the generous packages they insist on selling me at the 99 Cents Only stores.

21. My favorite
White chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies. I use the same recipe as Nestle Tollhouse cookies, just substitue white chips for chocolate and chopped macadamia nuts for chopped pecans.

27. 2 kinds
I like the Alton Brown recipe for Chocolate Chip (crisp fluffy edges w/ a chewy middle) and I like a chewy peanut butter recipe that I make with peanut butter powder (technically its #2 defatted peanut flour)

33. President's Choice brand Triple Chocolate Fudge Decadent Cookies!
Available only in Canada, and certain parts of the more northerly US midwest...

They're two chocolate cookies filled with delicious semi-sweet chocolate chips, with fudge filling in the middle. They're dangerously high-calorie, come in a kilogram box (at selected grocery stores) -- perfect for sharing, and when combined with a roasted marshmallow, they make The Perfect S'more. :)
