1. Just one, but I'm really good at it.
I usually throw some sloth in in the mornings just to mix things up a little.

2. I chose my two very carefully--they are the most fun, IMHO.
Pride and lust (I get a partial pass for being happily married).

Or do I? Hmm...

4. It really depends on
what day of the week it is, and whether or not I'm just being lazy or if I'm in too much pain or fatigue to do anything other than just sit and veg out.

5. Does it ever crack anyone else up...
That pride is a sin, but every fundy is so proud to be a Christian or an American or whatever? Did they forget it's a sin!?

6. Man, it's a good thing I don't believe in hell.
Otherwise I'd have seven things to work on.

7. I have issues w/ all of them, even if I am not :"sinning"
In my pursuit of being humble, I began to feel too unworthy.
In my pursuit of generosity, I began to feel as though I had nothing to give and to resented giving.
In pursuit of kindness, I saw that other people were not kind and I became angry.
In my pursuit of self control and temperance, I practiced it to my detriment. In my pride, I declared that I had overcome my needs, when in fact I had become a slave in denying myself.
In feeling unworthiness, resentfullness, anger, and not getting my needs met, I became envious.
In all of this, I became too nervous and felt too helpless to do the things that I wanted and needed to do.
What is sin and does it go full circle? Does sacrafice for its own sake rather than good become a sin as the ultimate expression of pride. Does complete humility prevent us from feeling able to be generous or to do things that we should do?
Are counselors who say that we should feel free to feel whatever feelings we have right? Does it do more harm to deny my anger than to feel it or express it?
Perhaps, this should be reserved for another discussion.

9. I've definitely got lust, gluttony and sloth going on
I dabble in pride and sometimes give in to wrath. I pride myself in avoiding avarice and envy.

Nope, still can't. Been years since this happened, and I'd forgotten how much fun it isn't.

I'm at work (not working = sloth) eating chocolate porter cake (gluttony). In my defense, there are no customers and it's my birthday.:)

19. Wow. I think I'm doing pretty well right now.
In the past I've hit several of those but at this moment in my life I think I've got everything under control. It doesn't count as lust if it's your husband, does it?

Envy (though it's mostly envy of (my perception of) other people's happiness and not envy of their possessions, which I think differs me from most Americans)

Sloth (I fight a constant battle with that one)

Lust (I'm pretty sure I've got Jimmy Carter beat on the whole "lusting in my heart" bit)

Maybe lust?
Depends on how you define it. Mine is confined to a loving, monogamous relationship. Otherwise, I'm generous, loving, hardworking, etc.

Oh crap, P R I D E !!!!
