I had creamy dill salmon over pasta with a side of broccoli for lunch.
It was a Healthy Choice frozen meal (6 grams of fat, 19 grams of protein, 250 calories).

It was delicious. I loved every bite.

I'm still hungry.

1. I had a doughnut, and iced tea
but I walked a mile to buy the donut, so it's okay, right?

Then it started raining and I hid in a library.

3. Walking a mile is good.
I'm still hungry. Clearly, that meal was not enough for me. I'm trying to decide what else I should eat.

250 calories isn't really enough for lunch anyway.

What kind of doughnut was it?

2. Salmon rules. I had a couple of wild caught salmon burgers with swiss.
I dunno how much fat, grams of protein, or calories it had, but it was good.

I don't touch the farmed salmon junk.

5. I love wild salmon too, but I'll eat farmed too. I just love salmon.
You've reminded me - I have some wild salmon in the freezer.

I should have gotten TWO of those meals.

12. Very much like what I plan for dinner
though it will be salmon, nuked with alfredo sauce (don't laugh, it works*), served with some Barilla Gemelli pasta. The broccoli side is a great idea, I'll pick some up on my way home.

* how I do the salmon. Take a microwave safe bowl (I use a 41oz Fiestaware bowl), put a bit of jarred alfredo sauce on the bottom, lay the defrosted, pre-packaged frozen salmon portion on that, cover it with more sauce and then cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Nuke the salmon for between 2 and 2 1/2 minutes. toss a bit of warmed alfredo sauce with the pasta, serve with the salmon - quick, easy, and yummy.

13. I had that too!
Or rather, I had it in the freezer at work, but opted to waste my money going out with my colleagues instead, where I had a chicken quesadilla with guac & salsa. God bless working in town, where there are lunch options within blocks!

15. A club sandwich would have filled me up more.
I still haven't had an addendum to my lunch, and I'm still hungry.

18. My dear Left Is Write.....
Your lunch sounded wonderful!

And WHY on God's green earth are you trying to restrict your calories?

You are NOT overweight, for crying out loud! :eyes:

You are active enough that I wouldn't think you'd need to worry about getting fat!

:loveya:

19. I'm not.
But it looked delicious (and I committed the grocery sin of shopping before having had lunch!).

It was delicious. Unfortunately, it didn't fill me up. (I actually have a pretty big appetite, and my activity level requires me to have about 2000-2200 calories per day to maintain my weight.)

It's now 3:00, I'm still hungry, and I'll probably have to resort to having a bowl of cereal. I also have to get into the shower and get ready for my date with Mr. LiW tonight - maybe a glass of wine will be in order after that. :D

Today I had Lean Cuisine "Beef Portobello and broccoli" which was also pretty tasty.
